“To shine your brightest light is to be who you truly are ”

Ever since Lorena and Bruno met at a folk dance event they knew they were meant for each other. They shared a passion for traditional Croatian music and dance, and often performed together in their local groups.

On a sunny morning in Zagreb, Lorena and Bruno decided to have a photo session in their beautiful traditional folk costumes from Jastrebarsko and Perušić. They wandered through the historic streets of the city, posing in front of ancient buildings and historic landmarks. As they posed for the camera, they couldn’t help but feel a deep connection to their cultural heritage and to each other. They laughed and joked, holding hands and twirling around in their colourful costumes.

On their long-awaited wedding day, the anticipation was palpable as they prepared for their first glimpse of each other. With a glass of rakija in hand to ease their nerves, the couple waited in excitement for the festivities to begin at the beautiful Kolarić Vina.

The day was nothing short of magical, with an atmosphere filled with love and happiness that enveloped everyone around them. As they exchanged heartfelt vows in the church and slipped rings onto each other’s fingers, it was clear that they were meant to be together.

Afterwards, they took a leisurely stroll through a nearby park with their closest friends, capturing unforgettable moments as the sun set in a sky full of magical colours. The radiant beauty of the couple against the backdrop of nature was breathtaking.

As the night approached, they returned to the starting point of their first photo session, the Hotel Dubrovnik in Zagreb. The venue was a perfect match for their love of traditional folk customs and the ideal location for the dinner reception and party. The celebration continued long into the night, filled with laughter, joy, and memories that would last a lifetime.
