We are going on an adventure!
This will probably seem a little unusual to some, but we who work in the wedding industry also like to express our satisfaction with clients who have put their trust in us to be a part of their lives on such an important day. The story of these two people will melt your heart...
Lea found me on the Tvornica Vječanja Facebook group, they looked at my website and decided to contact me. She said she was immediately "bought" by a quote from J.R.R. Tolkien, probably because they planned the whole wedding in a Lord of the Rings theme 🙂 After a little correspondence via messages, I met Lea for coffee and we talked about their plans and ideas. Filip couldn't be with us at the first meeting because of work, but we managed to manage 😉
The date was getting closer and I was already a little impatient and curious about what was waiting for me, but I couldn't even dream of everything I would see and experience at that wedding...
A beerbus, drums, guitar, so much happiness and joy in the air, GANDALF!
YES! They had organized a Beerbus that followed us everywhere and did what it does best - pour beer 😃 Lea and Filip like relaxation and being able to be who they are, so instead of a "standard" photo session, we took photos in Filip's room while they played drums and electric guitar! Did you get a glimpse at the rings? They have a guitar string in the middle!
The wedding and ceremony were at the Oasis resort, a beautiful place with beautiful nature... to make the whole story even more in their style, the ceremony place was like a smaller version of the Shire, they had a door from a hobbit house as a ceremony place made by the skilful hands by LTB design. But as a major surprise, her parents had their own plans... they dressed her dad as nothing less than Gandalf! Who dressed like that escorted Lea to the altar to her soon-to-be husband Filip. Of course, he took advantage of that moment and uttered one of Gandalf's well-known sayings "Fly, you fools!", but also later, during the exchange of wedding rings, another well-known "You Shall Not Pass" at which everyone had a good laugh and had fun.
The party continued in the inner part of the resort with a fantastic band, who obviously have a little extra energy because they already tired me out in the first set 😁 If you are looking for an energetic and fun band ChickStick is your band. They made a show on the podium, people danced and danced and danced... I think that by the morning they had exhausted their last atoms of strength!
Small thank-you gifts for guests in the form of miniature succulents made by the skilled hands of Sempervivum.art perfectly matches the theme of the wedding, and the small hobbit house to make the decor from Earendil-Star, a masterpiece! I can't leave out the whole decor, masterfully created by a LOTR fan like the newlyweds and a friend from the bride - Cvjetna i poklon galerija Vinka.
One of the main scenes of the evening was the speech of the best man who announced the grandfather of the bride and a bottle of brandy with a dedication that her grandfather poured in the year of her birth and since then kept it for his granddaughter's wedding day... it is a tradition that his ancestors started and he decided to continue and keep the tradition. Needless to say, tears were held back... 🥰
